Context of "THE RAIN".

In this poem the poet has highlighted the class distinction which has been there in every society .While describing the beautiful phenomenon of rain falling ,the poet wants to convey that rich people like rich leaves give those things to the poor which are of no use to them .The writer shows his optimism by saying that one day the sun of equality will rise and remove the class distinction .The scene at that time will be very attractive.
